To me, college is a whole new chapter in your life, it’s a place where you are the adult and you are responsible for what you do and what you don’t do. College is also a place to meet new people and create a bond with others that could last a lifetime. It’s a new thrilling voyage that I have begun and I’m ready to overcome any obstacles that college has to offer. College is not like high school there aren’t any teacher’s harassing you to turn in your homework or telling you that you have a paper due tomorrow you are considered an adult. Classes are going to be way different from high school. I know my classes will be more interesting than any classes I’ve taken before. I know the workload is going to be different. My first thought when I heard the word college was of all the great things I will be involved in. To be honest when I was getting ready for college I thought that I was going to go crazy. I do not live far from SCSU. Living at home is a good thing because I have my own privacy and I could study in silence so I won't be disrupted. Being that, I’m not that far away from Southern I could walk if something is going on at campus such as campus events. I am in charge of my own future, not anyone else. Right now, I am undecided in what degree I am trying to pursue. But, being undecided gives me more opportunities to look into different degree programs that best interest me. I want to work more on my study habits so that I can be a successful student. College is full of new chances. I want to meet new friends, and make this college experience something I would never forget. Life is about taking chances and making mistakes, but also to learn from these mistakes. College is also about learning new things and facing new challenges I have never experienced before, I know college will help me accomplish that.
